At HUB Organoids, we’re revolutionizing drug development with patient-derived organoid models. We’re seeking for several Scientist to join our various Research Departments, where you’ll lead cutting-edge commercial projects, collaborate with industry partners, and contribute to groundbreaking science. We have different Research Departments where we run the projects we execute for our customers as service.

Scope of position:
At HUB, we don’t just follow science — we lead it. As a Scientist in one of our dynamic Service Departments, you'll be at the forefront of translating cutting-edge organoid technology into real-world solutions for our commercial partners.
You will lead and contribute to high-impact service projects focused on modelling diseases such as cancer, inflammatory disorders, infectious diseases, and more. Whether assessing drug efficacy, toxicity, or helping accelerate therapeutic breakthroughs, your work will directly fuel innovation across the biotech and pharma landscape.
This is a hands-on role that blends lab expertise, scientific creativity, and client engagement. You’ll work closely with Project Managers, Research Associates, and fellow Scientists to ensure flawless execution of projects that matter to our customers.
What will you do?
- Contribute to reach commercial targets and internal milestones by functioning as a project leader in multiple projects.
- As a project leader, and together with project managers, will ensure projects are executed on budget and on time, and deliver good quality data.
- Execute and design experiments using molecular and cellular assays (e.g. co-cultures, screenings, readouts).
- Develop new organoid capabilities to increase our service portfolio, combining different stage-of-the-art technologies
- Analyze and interpret complex datasets to generate meaningful insights for our clients.
- Have some hands-on on organoid culture and establishment, when required.
- Present your findings to both internal teams and external commercial partners.
- Troubleshoot technical challenges and streamline experimental workflows.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to meet commercial project milestones.
What will you bring?
- A PhD in Life Sciences or related fields.
- A background in one or more of the following areas:
- - Oncology or immuno-oncology
- - Adult stem cells / organoid systems
- - Inflammatory diseases (e.g. IBD, COPD)
- - Infectious diseases (e.g., respiratory, intestinal)
- - Toxicology
- - High-throughput screening and assay development
- Proficiency in cell culture, experience with organoid models is a big plus.
- Energetic and problem-solve attitude, increasing lab capabilities to support business growth and reach commercial milestones.
- Strong attention to detail, integrity and a collaborative mindset. You thrive in a team environment and are committed to delivering quality results.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
- Strong communication skills (in English), both written and verbal, to ensure an efficient internal stakeholders and customers management.
