Then we’re looking for you! We are currently seeking a fulltime Business/Project Controller to focus on a wide range of financial processes.

Scope of Position

In this role, you will be able to make a difference by supporting the management of the business with financial information. You will be responsible for financial planning and analysis for the organization. You will forecast future revenues and expenditures to establish cost structures and assess project and overall profitability, analyse the business processes and report these to the management. Moreover, you will identify trends in financial performance and provide recommendations for improvement, both organization-wide and project-specific. Finally, you will be the primary financial link between the finance department and the other departments within this organization.

Reports to: CFO

What will you do?

• Prepare the annual budget and quarterly forecasts
• Prepare monthly reports and analysis with focus on project profitability and execution
• Improve current reporting and propose and implement new reports
• Prepare work in progress for services for monthly revenue recognition
• Keep the overview of services and milestones for timely and complete invoicing
• Analyze project-specific performance and discuss with project leaders & managers.
• Prepare capacity analysis for the company’s resources
• Propose and lead further automation activities in AFAS, MS Excel and PowerBI
• Be the business partner of the department heads on their budgets
• Own grant controlling and reporting to respective authorities

• Able to translate the data into actionable management information (on time)
• Ability to work both independently and together with different teams/departments
• You have experience working in a fast changing environment and come with a change management mindset
• Strong organizational skills
• You are flexible and adaptable, so you can handle changing priorities and tasks.
• You communicate effectively, friendly, and respectfully with different organizational levels.
• Master degree in Quantitative Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Business Economics or similar study
• Minimal of 4 year experience in comparable finance role
• Trained in project accounting
• Afas knowledge
• Master in Excel and PowerBI
