Are you looking for oversight and control over both P&L and balance sheet in a key finance role? Then we’re looking for you! We are currently seeking a fulltime Financial Controller to focus on a wide range of financial processes.

Scope of Position

In this role you will be able to make a difference by providing the financial information to both the HUB team and external parties. You will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy of financial data, including the Profit & Loss statement and Balance Sheet. You will be empowered to set-up and improve the finance processes enabling faster and better management information.

Reports to: CFO

What will you do?

• Prepare the draft annual financial reports and support the annual audit process
• Support on tax reporting towards authorities and communication with tax advisors
• Own the monthly cash flow projections
• Review balance sheet accounts, payroll journals and other entries regularly.
• Support monthly and yearly closing with necessary controls
• Own the prepare and submit the VAT declaration.
• Improve existing internal controls and implement new ones
• Contribute to post-acquisition integration activities for controlling, tax, treasury
• Gradually insource and take over the monthly controlling and tax reporting to parent company

• You have experience working in a fast changing environment and come with a change management mindset
• Strong organizational skills
• You are flexible and adaptable, so you can handle changing priorities and tasks.
• You communicate effectively, friendly, and respectfully with different organizational levels
• Master degree in Quantitative Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Business Economics or similar study
• Minimal of 5 year experience in comparable finance role preferably in an international environment
• Dutch GAAP knowledge
• Familiarity with IFRS is considered a plus
• Afas knowledge
• Master in Excel
• PowerBI knowledge is considered a plus
